Our client is a large and very successful food manufacturing and processing company specialising in high quality Asian food products. They are currently seeking an experienced Quality Controller to join their team.

The key responsibilities will include:

• Having a sound knowledge of company quality policy, quality objectives, quality procedures and work instructions.
• Being familiar with Legislative Requirements for the business including Food Safety, HACCP requirements.
• Coordinating quality system documentation and records.
• Conducting product inspection online and working closely with internal stakeholders to main and improve quality of our products.
• Communicating with QA Manager, Operations Manager and all staff regarding Quality documentation and Production records.
• Ensure all HACCP Plan verification and calibration activities are complete.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Science and Technology or equivalent.
• Current HACCP training
• At least 1 year experience working in a similar position in the food industry including quality assurance e.g. taking temperature
• Be able to follow instructions
• Reading and writing of reports
