High-risk work licensing: Forklift operators supplied for forklift duties hold the relevant High Risk Work Licence: LF for forklift trucks and LO for order-picking forklifts where required. We sight and verify licences before confirming shifts, in line with applicable Victorian requirements.
Labour hire licensing: We operate as a licensed labour hire provider in Victoria, under the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018 (Vic).
Award compliance: We pay our warehouse employees in accordance with the applicable industrial instrument, including the Storage Services and Wholesale Award 2020 where it applies. This includes applicable minimum rates, casual loading, shift penalties, overtime and allowances.
Safety inductions & Chain of Responsibility: Our inductions cover safe manual handling and relevant Chain of Responsibility obligations under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), helping workers understand their role in safe loading, load restraint, mass management and fatigue-risk management.

- LF / LO licence
- High risk work licences issued by WorkSafe. LF covers forklift trucks; LO covers order-picking forklifts, where the operator rises with the load.
- Pick packing
- Selecting the items for an order from stock, then packing them ready for dispatch.
- RF scanning
- Using a handheld radio-frequency scanner to record stock as it is received, moved and picked.
- 3PL
- Third-party logistics: a provider that stores and ships goods on behalf of other businesses.
- Cross-docking
- Moving inbound goods straight to outbound transport, with little or no time in storage.
- Hazardous manual handling
- Lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying that involves repeated or sustained force, awkward posture or heavy loads.

Do forklift operators need a licence in Victoria?
Yes. Operating a forklift is high risk work under Part 3.6 of the OHS Regulations 2017, so operators must hold an LF or LO licence issued by WorkSafe Victoria. We check every licence before a shift is confirmed.
Who is responsible for a labour hire worker’s safety?
Both of us. Under Victoria’s OHS Act 2004, the labour hire provider and the host employer each owe duties to the worker, and must consult and coordinate with each other. We check licences and induct workers before they arrive; you provide a safe workplace, a site-specific induction and day-to-day supervision.
Which award covers warehouse workers?
Most warehouse roles fall under the Storage Services and Wholesale Award 2020. We pay to the award classification for each role, including shift penalties, overtime and casual loading.
How quickly can you supply warehouse staff?
It depends on the role and the licences it needs. Once your account is set up you can order staff by phone 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and we draw on a pool of screened casual staff to fill shifts at short notice.
