Maintenance Electrician – Permanent Night Shift

Are you an A-Grade Licensed Electrician with experience maintaining production machinery within a manufacturing environment?

Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team on a permanent night shift. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturing business offering long-term stability, a supportive team environment and a competitive hourly rate.

Previous food manufacturing experience is not essential. However, applicants must have experience maintaining machinery within a manufacturing or industrial production environment.

Please note: We're seeking electricians with hands-on maintenance experience within manufacturing or industrial production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimise downtime
• Complete planned maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules
• Fault  find across electrical control systems and production equipment
• Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with Workplace Health  & Safety requirements
• Work   collaboratively with Production and Maintenance teams to maximise equipment reliability

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

• Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Essential)
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within a manufacturing or  industrial production environment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• PLC fault-finding experience will be highly regarded
• Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
