Our client is a leading organisation within the building and infrastructure sector, operating a busy and well-structured warehouse facility in Derrimut. Due to ongoing demand, they are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Storeperson / Forklift Driver to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, takes pride in accuracy and safety, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced dispatch environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Supervisor andWarehouse Leadership team, you will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage and dispatch of goods.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving and quality-checking all incoming stock
• Picking, packing and preparing orders to customer specifications
• Safe loading and unloading of trucks and containers
• Dispatch docket printing and basic computer-based administration
• Assisting with transport bookings (training provided)
• Cycle counting and regular stock control activities
• Labelling, storing and organising inventory accurately
• Reporting damaged stock and short deliveries immediately
• Maintaining a clean, safe warehouse and dispatch office environment
• General warehouse duties including manual handling

• Follow all Safe Work Instructions and Safe Operating Procedures
• Identify, report and assist in resolving workplace hazards
• Take reasonable care for personal and team safety at all times
• Comply with all WHS&E policies and procedures
• Promote safe practices to colleagues, contractors and visitors

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.

You will have:

• A current Australian forklift licence (essential)
• A valid driver’s licence
• Previous experience in warehousing, logistics or dispatch environments
• Good numeracy and problem-solving skills
• Strong time management and organisational ability
• Clear and professional communication skills
• A personable attitude and willingness to learn
• Warehousing/Logistics Certificate II or III (preferred)
• White Card or WHS-related certification (advantageous)

You’ll also be open to learning new tasks and assisting with training new staff as required.

Hours & Conditions

• Full-time role
• Standard hours: 6:00am – 3:00pm
• Occasional overtime may be required
