The Role:

Lead, motivate, and support a team of production workers, including agency staff, across multiple product lines

Take full responsibility for the production area in the absence of the Production Supervisor

Supervise packing and production operations, including training, scheduling, and performance management

Maintain safe, clean, and efficient work areas while meeting food safety and quality standards

Balance workflows across packing lines to reduce downtime and bottlenecks

Resolve line-related issues such as machinery breakdowns, staffing gaps, or quality concerns

Optimise daily schedules and workloads to ensure timely and accurate order completion

Engage with your team directly — roll up your sleeves and lead by example

Support a positive team culture and collaborate with cross-functional teams

About You:

3+ years’ experience in food production, packing, or manufacturing environments

Proven leadership or operational management experience; supervisory, team leader, or 2IC roles preferred

Current forklift licence with high reach and counterbalance experience

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards

Proactive, self-motivated, and able to make decisions under pressure

Approachable, collaborative, and able to engage effectively with staff and stakeholders

Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
