How Chandler GTO recruits its trainees:

Applicants are screened to meet strict selection criteria
Applicants are invited to attend an interview with Chandler Health GTO
Applicants who successfully complete the interview process are required to do a pre-selection assessment
Applicants attend an interview with their host employer
Once selected trainees receive induction to Chandler GTO, a host employer induction and RTO induction before commencement

Responsibilities of the host employer

As an employer of an apprentice or trainee, you are responsible for the following:- making sure they receive the correct training- making sure they are enrolled with a registered training organization (RTO)- allowing them to leave work to attend off-the-job training- providing appropriate facilities and experienced people to work with.Additional resources are available to help understand your obligations and expectations.

How does Chandler Personnel monitor progress?
Our experienced Field Officers regularly visit workplaces and training institutes to monitor progress, discuss any arising issues, and mediate as required.
What are the responsibilities of the host employer?
As a host employer, your main responsibility is to provide on-the-job training to the apprentice or trainee. You're also required to allow them time off for their off-the-job training. You can learn more here: www.vrqa.vic.gov.au
How does Chandler Personnel select trainees and apprentices?
We screen applicants based on strict selection criteria, followed by an interview with us and a pre-selection assessment. The host employer also conducts an interview before final selection.

How does billing work?
